“…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:1-2
Sessions will be scheduled daily between 9:00am and 7:00pm. They will be a mix of discourses, panels or symposiums, testimony meetings, vespers, and a baptismal service and immersion. Live translations will be provided for all services into English, Polish, Romanian, and select other languages.
There will be extra studies and/or presentations available following the evening meal each night. There may be concurrent sessions and they are optional.
The afternoon of Friday, August 6 will be open for excursions, free time, and/or a possible choir performance in the village. There is a plan for coordinated excursions for the brethren to places like Auschwitz. Additional information on the excursion options and any associated costs will be shared at the convention. Any cost for these excursions will be in addition to the registration fees.
There will be scheduled Bible classes for children and studies for young adults each day. Programs will be available at the convention.
The speakers who will be serving in English include Br. Tom Gilbert, Br. Len Griehs, and Br. Larry McClellan. Br. David Stein will chair a USA panel with the topic “What did Jesus do? Lessons from the actions of Jesus’ life.”
Chorus & Study Seminars
Plans are underway to hold both chorus and study seminars pre-convention at the Eagles Nest starting on Friday, July 31 thru August 4, 2020.
Br. Tim Krupa will serve as chorus director for the chorus seminar with the chorus once again opening the convention on Tuesday evening, August 4. The purpose of this seminar is to glorify and praise the Creator through hymns, as well as through accompaniment performed by multiple instrumentalists. All these activities will prepare in the spirit of praise a performance for the convention and a possible local witnessing effort.
Details for the study seminar are still being finalized and will be published when confirmed.
We will open up the adjoining auditoriums of the Orle Gniazdo to create a large main room. In the rooms located next to the main auditorium, participation will be limited to watching the services via large screens.
We are planning to take full advantage of the center’s kitchen and catering services. Vegetarian options will be available. We expect that due to such a large number of brethren, meals will be served in several rounds starting at the following times:
Accommodations & Pricing
Specific information regarding conference center and alternate hotel accommodations will be shared when registration opens. There will be options for standard and premium accommodations.
